About

Let us help you find the perfect group for you!

At CFC, Community Groups are Important because we believe that God created us to be in fellowship with one another.

Here, you will experience church on a smaller scale, which is centered on authentic relationships and meaningful engagement with God’s Word. Community groups serve as an opportunity to grow deeper in your faith while also finding encouragement and accountability from fellow believers. All of us who are following Jesus yearn to live life on a mission and to do so alongside other Christ followers. Besides fulfilling the Great Commission of making disciples across all nations, we should strive to be the hands and feet of Christ to all.

Meet our Care Group Advisors

Recently, we began peer groups, which are individuals or couples who are assigned to oversee specific Community Group leaders. These groups will meet twice a year to:

  • discuss challenges and opportunities

  • potentially collaborate on fellowship events and/or service projects

  • offer ideas for training and huddle topics

  • connect with other leaders

Steve & Devon Brubaker

Steve & Devon met at Messiah University and have been married for 27 years.  Small group ministry has been a focus for Steve & Devon as they have lead, organized, and attended small groups for 20 years.  Having joined CFC 2 years ago, they were excited to get involved in small groups because they believe in the discipleship opportunities, support, and care that the ministry provides.  It is exciting to see prayers answered, lives changed, and Biblical truths discussed through this life-giving ministry.  Steve & Devon have 2 young adult children and live in Manheim Township.  Devon works for FCA and Steve works in supply chain.
