Student Ministry

Hey CFC Community Groups,

I'm excited to have this opportunity to reach out to each of you and implore you to search your heart in prayer and reflection, seeking what our Heavenly Dad might be calling you to!

The heart of CFC beats for believers to be united, loved, and supported within the body. This includes our newest members to our most mature members! That being said, we have students that need people in their lives that are willing to invest in them spiritually by sharing the truth of the word of God, and invest in them personally by sharing glimpses of your own encounters with the Living God!! Could that be you? Jesus called each one of us to "go and make disciples of all nations."

Could that look like serving within the walls of CFC on a Sunday morning with our 5th and 6th grade students, one to two times per month? Then GenNext is for you! Our GenNext students are asking hard questions in a search to understand who God is!

Could it possibly be hanging out with our 7th and 8th grade students once per week? Then Junior High might be best for you! having a blast with these students, building the foundation of fantastic mentor/mentee relationships, and showing them what personally following Jesus means for you!

Maybe the 9-12th grade is more your scene? Our Senior High students meet on Sunday evenings during the school year! They are discovering what it looks like to follow God in a world that regularly tells them complete opposite!

A study has been found to show that students need a minimum of 5 adults in their lives, other than their own parents, who earnestly share their faith with them in order for them to remain in church as a young adult.

I hope that you will consider being a part of these students' lives! They are pretty great and we are honored to walk with them in their faith journey!!!

Please email me at jboss@communityfellowship.com to get more information!

In addition to this The Student Community also has an opportunity for you to partner with us in prayer. We would love to continue our efforts of bridging the generational gaps that can naturally occur by having your group commit to praying for a student this year we will introduce your community group leader(s) to one of our amazing students, they can reach out to you with praises and prayer request and your group as a whole can cover them in prayer throughout the year!

Blessings, Jess
